Yay! House is back! Tonight’s episode was great although I felt there was something missing. Nevertheless, there were tons of moments that had me in stitches. When House had the janitor sat down for deliberation, “Dr. Buffer” said lupus while wearing his pants backwards. When Dr. Wilson added “or Cuddy” to the list of people House shouldn’t report his missing guitar to. Dr. Cuddy muttering “I hate myself”. House kidnaps Wison’s patient. His interaction with the ER doctor with the “lopsided eyes…by which I mean breasts.”
I loved the mistaken identity twist. I was unspoiled for the episode, and actually didn’t figure it out until House had his epiphany moment. I kept thinking that the girl was having an affair with the other guy and that was somehow related. I was going down the wrong road the whole time. Cuddy’s little speech about what each of the ducklings would have done if they had been there gave me a bit of a pang. I miss ‘em.
I’m actually looking forward to the return of the cottage cheese trio. If for no reason other than they are all grown up now and on the verge of being great themselves. Three little House Graduates, ready to look House in the eye and give him the finger whenever they want, because he is no longer in control. Plus, them going toe to toe with the new group of cheese? Endless amusement material. Fight for Daddy’s attention! Fight to the Death!
